Elite Global Events For The Upper-Class Pt. 2

The Super Bowl At Candlestick

Part two of our luxury events series will consist of some hobby-specific events that are often attended by the world’s wealthiest individuals. Some events are attended by the rich and the famous simply for the social stature that comes with their appearance. For example, dolled-up celebrities attend red carpets and film festivals just to be seen wearing an expensive, personally-tailored outfit, catch some headlines, and smile for the cameras. On the other hand, there are events that highlight a specific hobby like car collection, in which the elite individuals that attend are there to partake in activities that truly interest them.

Monaco Yacht Show

Every year, one of the smallest countries in the world hosts one of the biggest events in the world. The Monaco Yacht Show is a gathering of the most elite yacht lovers. You can see avid yacht enthusiasts like Seattle Seahawks’ owner Paul Allen and world-renowned film director Steven Spielberg atop their beautiful ships or you can see reality TV star and fashionista Kim Kardashian sunbathing atop whatever luxurious boat she decided to rent that weekend. Regardless, if you are a sea-lover, this is the place to be come September.

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

The most popular car show in the world is the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Any true car lover can tell you that this event is like automotive paradise, combining the beauty of classic rides with the innovation of next-generation vehicles. Only the biggest celebrity car junkies like Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld will be seen walking the grounds at Pebble Beach.

Super Bowl

Not quite as fancy as the Kentucky Derby but just as popular, the Super Bowl is arguably the most famous sporting event in the world. Sure, it is an exclusively American sport, as not many countries partake in American Football, but make no mistake, this is an international event littered with famous people from every industry. Last year, Atlanta-born musicians Ludacris, Lil Jon, 2 Chainz, and Usher represented their Falcons at Super Bowl 51. In addition, Harry Connick Jr., Simone Biles, and Rupert Murdoch were among other elite celebrities to attend the annual event.
